New Delhi : Good news for Class 10 students! The CBSE has announced that board exams will now be held twice a year. This new system aims to reduce stress and improve students' results.
Students can choose to appear once or take both exams. Their best score will be considered in the final result. This means if a student doesn’t perform well in the first attempt, they get another chance to improve.
Many students and parents have welcomed this change. “It gives us a second opportunity without pressure,” says Rohan, a Class 10 student. Teachers also believe it will help students perform better.
Double opportunity
However, some feel that preparing for two exams might be tiring. Schools will need to adjust their schedules accordingly.
CBSE’s goal is to make board exams stress-free while improving learning outcomes. With this new system, students can now focus on understanding subjects instead of just memorizing.
This change is expected to begin soon, bringing a new way of learning and testing for students across India.
